I do not know how it feels for you, of course, but I know that when one measures themselves against the object of their affections, they may find themselves wanting. The very most important thing to remember is that as much as you've chosen them, so have they chosen you.
I would caution, of course, running to headlong into things, but so long as you are both happy and satisfied with the arrangement of things, is that not the important thing to keep in mind?
