But, I guess, what about you? Like I've heard shit about Jonathan, obviously, but not much is said on your behalf? Though I've heard some bits and pieces the few times I got to see great grandpa.

About me? Well, my father was a doctor. I assisted him as a nurse when I was older, but getting people to take him seriously about washing hands was a struggle. Gentlemen did not like to believe their hands carry all the same germs a porter does.

I lived in India for several years growing up. That was nice, I would've liked to return to India again. Peda is named after my favorite treat from there.

... That's actually pretty cool, a lot better than some of the things the rest of us have done. And if it's any consolation, he was absolutely right and now it's just a common thing everyone does at this point. Or, well, everyone who isn't stupid as a brick and nasty.

India???? Man, I kinda wish I'd been able to travel more. Only really got to go some places in the US and then Japan every so often. Not... really all that fun.

If you ever get the chance, I hope you find a way there. It was bright, and colourful. Compared to England, it was a good deal more energetic, and the curry was excellent. The curry here is... not as good.

Wish I could, but I... don't think it'd be possible even if I did manage to get back home from here.

Oh! Uh. Well. My dad was from Japan is kinda how. He ended up going to America before I was born but my grandma's over there still, so got to go and see her from time to time.

Also America's kinda trash, at least in my time it's nothing really special.

Well, when I'm from, American is still in its infancy, at only over a century old. I've heard they're funny people, Americans. But perhaps that has changed over the years? Less enterprising, perhaps?

Can't really speak for the rest of the country, but kind of assholes? Also Florida's kind of a shithole if you aren't old and/or like partying and beaches.

Kinda miss a good beach right about now, though...

But back to the family stuff for a sec. It's... uhhh. Great grandpa married I waaaaanna say she was Italian, moved to America. Grandma went and married a Japanese dude and moved out there. Then dad came to America for reasons I don't really care about and married mom here? Shit's insane. Kinda went back to the Italian bit though, since mom's family's pretty damn Italian despite living here.

She's... I didn't get to see her too much since that's... a long flight. But when I did, she's probably one of the sweetest people I've ever been around. Like, genuinely so.

It sounds like you have many good memories, even if it was tiring to travel. I can understand; carriage travel is no treat. Also, I'm disappointed in my son. All these singular children. You would have thought you had more... more. Cousins and aunts and uncles and the like.

We wanted a larger family than one child, after all.

I suppose if you have no extended Joestar family, then you must have Pendleton family somewhere distant. I was the only daughter, but I had older brothers. Of course, they were very cross at how quickly Jonathan and I wed, so there is that.
